Jettie Woodruff's Underestimated Too Book Tour

Title: Underestimated Too
Author: Jettie Woodruff
Genre: Adult Romance
Publication Date: March 15

WARNING. This book contains: explicit sex scenes (some forced, some not), intense situations not meant for the faint of heart, abuse, adult language and content.

Money is not the most important thing in the world. Love is, so they say anyway. Fortunately, Drew loves money. He wasn’t capable of loving anything else. The more money he made, the more he needed to make. Always chasing a deal, that was the most important thing in the world to him.

You rode Morgan’s side of the tracks. Now ride Drew’s. You know the things she went through, things nobody should go through. Is Drew sorry for his part in that? Probably not. He’s not sure things would have turned out the way they did had he been the cute little husband the critics expected him to be. He did do things that hurt her, and regretted a lot of his choices, but tortured himself, wanting to do them still.

You think you know Drew? You don’t know squat. You know what his wife has told you. She couldn’t tell you more than that, she doesn’t know that part of Drew. You want a sappy cliché romance? Move on, this isn’t the story for you. You want all the gruesome details? Stick around, and then you can judge Drew.

Jettie did an amazing job with Underestimated Too.

I loved getting to see how Drew really was and findIng out why he was the way he was.  It didn't make me accept what he did to Morgan but it gave me a better understanding.

Drew completely had my emotions all over the place as I read Underestimated Too.  I loved him, hated him, cried for him, and fell for him all over again.

Underestimated Too perfectly explained the things Drew did to Morgan ( in Underestimated) giving us his reasoning behind everything we were captured by in this previous book.

I absolutely loved reading Drew's point of view.  Jettie once again outdid herself with this 5 star read.  I truly loved this book.  If you haven't started this emotional roller coaster Morgan and Drew have wrapped me and so many others in, what are you waiting for?  Click the links below to start their journey, it's one you won't be able to forget!

Excerpt #1:

“You coming soon? The photographer will be here any minute. Do you really want me to dress Nicholas for this?”
“No way, we’re leaving now… Drew?”
“Yeah.”
“The moving guys left two boxes of papers here for me. Should I bring them home for you?”
“No, I’ll send Celeste after them tomorrow. Come home. Nicky will be awake soon.”
“Okay, but you just called him Nicky again.”
“You don’t have to point it out every time I do it.”
“Yes I do. I’ll see you in a few. I have to run Alicia home first.”
“You should stop and get us some beer. We’ll float around the pool naked after Marta leaves and NICHOLAS goes to bed.”

Writing is more than a passion for me. I write adult books, romance and erotica. I did recently try my hand at a young adult romance, but because of the gutter that my mind seems to fall into. It quickly went into rated R mode. I reside in Ohio. I love living in Ohio, except maybe the cold winters, and the snow, well maybe the hot summers too. Ah hell, I hate Ohio.

I love to push my limits in writing, fuel the senses and emotions of my readers. I have some great supporters and love them all dearly.

Review of Jaden Wilkes new release, The Beast

*My Review*

If I could give The Beast 10 stars I would.  Jaden Wilkes, you are a freaking genius!!!

I loved everything about The Beast.  Don't get me wrong, there were some parts that were very dark, almost hard to read, but the outcome was just AMAZING.

I fell hard for Dimitri; even though some people may not agree.  I just felt so sorry for him; I saw through his hard exterior.  Dimitri was a tough guy, a cold blooded killer that wouldn't hesitate to end your life at the drop of a dime, but on the inside he was empty; a broken soul.

Columbia; my heart broke into a million pieces for Columbia.  When fate (if you can even call it that) brings these two together it was devastating.  Dimitri's past made him not trust who Columbia was, or even why she was in his house.  He automatically thought the worst.

Honestly this was the perfect, dark story of two very broken, very destroyed people living a very lonely life, yet together they created something tragically beautiful.

I don't want to give anything away, but I will say The Beast is a must read!

The emotions pouring from this book were raw and intense, not to mention the sex is HOT!!!

The Beast is dark yet in the end there's light.  I love, love, loved The beast; And I love, love, love Jaden Wilkes.  Clearly, Jaden's made a forever fan in me!

Looking for a Hard Rock Escape?

Cat Mason you are a wicked, wicked woman!  I finished Escaping Me in a day- nothing, and I mean nothing on my "To Do" list got checked off.  You gave me a true escape on one of the last days of my vacation, and I can't think of another place I would have rather been. That's a lie- I would have rather been on the tour bus with Shaft but we know that's not REALLY possible, now is it?

There's nothing I enjoy more than a book with the perfect blend of characters, a story line that I can get lost in and super sexy RED HOT (ahem...) sex scenes.  Throw in a splash of tattooed rockers and (fanning myself) you've got a winner!

Great news Beauties!  Cat's book, Facing Me (Shaft on Tour Book 2) is set to be released March 25th!  You'll be hearing more from us about this 5 star page turner!

Go get it!

If I could give this book a 10 star rating I would!

This book was one of those books that had me hooked from the first page.  I just couldn't put it down; everything about this book kept me on my toes.

All For Maddie was a dysfunctional, beautifully written story.  The situations were rough, scary, and definitely messed with your emotions. Being a first time young mother, I definitely connected, and understood certain characters.

All for Maddie started off rough, meaning the situations were almost hard to get through, but I can't deny that this book was tragically beautiful.

Jettie's writing was so intense; my emotions were going crazy.  I felt a range of feelings from love, hate, sexiness, happiness, and sadness.

All for Maddie was a well deserved 5 stars.  Jettie Woodruff has made a forever fan in me!!

Excerpt #1

“Papaw, you watch dis wif me?” Maddie asked, holding up her princess movie.
My dad stood and went to her. I instantly jerked my hand from Alex’s, giving him a dirty look. He smirked. I wanted to punch him.
“Papaw has a better idea. Why don’t you stay here with papaw and nana tonight and let mommy have an adult night?” he offered, smiling over at me.
Man, this sucked. I didn’t want his smiling approval. I didn’t want him to like Alex. How could he like Alex? Alex was a conspirator. He couldn’t like Alex.
“No Dad, Alex came here to spend the weekend with her,” I tried.
“Alex is going to take her away from me. Alex can deal with it,” my dad joked, with Alex.
“Its fine, sweetie. She can stay if she wants to,” Alex approved, smiling at me.
I got up to go to bathroom. I had to. I was going to vomit, on him! I leaned in to Alex, catching the smile on his face when he thought that I was going to play his make believe game and kiss him or something. “You’re going to a hotel,” I seductively whispered in his ear.

Excerpt #2

“What’s wrong, baby? Did you have a bad dream?”
“No. A gemin under my bed,” she assured me.
“A gemin?” I repeated, not sure what the heck she was talking about.
“Uh-huh, I go in your bed, K?”
I carried her back to bed with me and snuggled her little body close to mine.
“A gemin under you bed?” she asked.
“What is a gemin?” I asked, wondering if she knew herself.
She rolled to her back so she could demonstrate with her hands.
“It dat big,” she gestured. “Dem can’t have no water.”
“Oh, my God!” I said, sitting up, reaching for my phone. I didn’t care that it was after two in the morning.
“What the hell, Whit?” Jaron answered on the third ring. “Do you know what time it is?”
“YES! You freaking let her watch Gremlins?”
“They’re cute,” he said.
“They’re monsters. She’s three for God’s sake.”
“I’ll tell her they’re not real tomorrow. Sorry, I’ll see you tomorrow,” Jaron said, hanging up on me. Grrrr. I couldn’t believe he let her watch the Gremlins.

Excerpt #3

“I’m not your pawn. You can’t treat me like this,” I yelled drunk words, trying to make sense.
Alex walked back out wearing his jeans.
“I have never treated you like my pawn.”
“You think I’m young and stupid and I just have to do everything—”
My words were cut off by his lips on mine. He tossed me toward to the bed and jerked my shoes off, flinging them roughly across the room. I stared in shock as he unsnapped my jeans and pulled them crudely over my hips.
“Alex, stop. What are you doing?”
He didn’t listen. He ran his fingers between my legs, aggressively shoving two fingers inside of me, dragging them up my wet slit, to my clit, and back inside of me.
“You want me to stop, Whitley?”
“No,” I whimpered as he assaulted my throbbing clitoris.
I dropped from my elbows as he moved down and took me with his mouth, violating my clit with intense pleasure. I felt like I was going to faint. It was so powerful and concentrated. I didn’t think he was ever going to let me come. I would get so close. As soon as I would start to writhe my hips into his mouth, he would slow down.
“Ah, right there. Don’t stop,” I begged with a whimper.
As soon as I screamed out in unbelievable pleasure he was kissing me. This was so messed up. I just walked in on him fucking someone else, and now I was tasting my pussy on his mouth.
“Fuck me, Alex,” I pleaded, panting heavily in his mouth.
He pulled back and stared down at me.
“I’m not going to fuck you, Whitley. I’m going to make love to you, but not tonight. Not now. Do you know when I am going to make love to you?”
I couldn’t answer. I just stared wide eyed and shook my head.
“I’m going to make love to you when you tell me to make love to you. When you are not drunk. Have you ever had sex sober, Whitley?”

Aine Kelley's Finding Home Blog Tour

If you don't know by now, I'm a sucker for a good love story.  Aine Kelley's Finding Home was just that.Finding Home was a beautiful story of two broken people finding their way home through love.

I loved Sam's character.  She was your typical girl who gave up on love, due to her horrible track record of crappy boyfriends.

Sam has no family that she can count on besides her best friend Jenny.  Due to a budget cut that causes Sam to lose her first "real" job before she even starts, she takes a leap of faith and moves to California with Jenny and her family.

I also love love loved Ben, Jenny's brother.  Ben is just yummy all around.  He's a sexy rugby player, who has a body to die for.  A horrible tragedy leaves Ben alone and broken; no longer a believer in love.

Both Sam and Ben can't deny the strong pull that drives them to each other. But can two people, as broken as them, find love in each other?

Aine Kelly has such a beautiful way with words that I couldn't stop reading. Each chapter went into the next, and before I knew it, I was finished.  I laughed, cried, smiled, and cried some more.  I felt every emotion that both Ben and Sam went through.

Finding Home was the perfect story of what happens when you stop letting your past control your future.  If you just trust that things happen for a reason, instead of trying to control it, you could truly be happy.

It was a beautiful story of love.  I loved everything about Finding Home.  I give it a well deserved 5 stars, and look forward to reading more from Aine Kelley.  She has definitely gained a forever fan!

If you want to know what happens to Sam and Ben just one click below.  I promise you'll love this one!

Ben Foster has been dealing with heartache and guilt for the past two years, believing he lost his only chance at love. He wonders if she is the one who can help his heart find a new way home.

Letting go of the past and moving forward is not always easy. Their connection is strong, but their pasts keep getting in the way. Will Sam and Ben's journey tear them apart or help them find a place to call home?

Looking up into her moist eyes I pull her close to me. Our arms hug each other with a fierceness that’s getting rid of every loose fragment of damage. We’re expelling each and every bad memory and all the shit that’s fucked us up. “I don’t want to let you go. Can we stay like this for a little while longer?” Her head nods on my shoulder as she sinks deeper into our embrace.
“You feel incredible in my arms. I never thought much about guardian angels, but I think you’ve been sent just for me. Your arms wrapping around me make everything go away.”
Sam’s arms grip me with even more vigor. I feel her breath and lips tickle my ear as she turns her head into the crook of my neck. Feather light kisses touch my neck and earlobe as she whispers; “You’re wrong Ben; you’re my angel. You make me believe that love can exist.” Her head pulls back but her arms stay firmly in place. “Your voice brought light into my life when all I could see was darkness. When I’m all alone, it’s your voice that I hear when I drift off to sleep at night.”
I turn and press my lips onto hers tenderly and hold them there for several seconds before breaking away. We stay holding each other well into the night. Finally, her breaths change and I realize she’s fallen asleep on my shoulder. I gently shift her body close and place one arm underneath her legs to pick her up. She stirs slightly and turns her head into the curve of my neck and inhales deeply. “Mmm, you smell so good.”
I hold her against me as I chuckle, “Oh yeah? It’s a combination of sweat, wine, and you.”
Sighing she lifts her head with her eyes still closed. “How is it you know to say the exact thing a woman likes to hear?”
“I don’t know about that. I guess you bring it out of me.”
We get into the truck, and I buckle her up. I fight off the images of the accident and instead focus on Sam.  I listen to her steady breaths and watch her sleep. She hypnotizes me.  I’m captivated by her heart, beauty and soul. Her capacity to let me in is remarkable and humbling especially when I don’t think I deserve it. Home has to feel a lot like this because I can’t imagine living anywhere else.

My Review
Every once in a while I come across a book that sounds like it has promise from the brief description provided.  As I start reading I often worry that I'll be disappointed by a slow start or poor character development, lack of description, grammar or spelling errors- any number of things.  It's always such a relief as the story starts to flow and the 'movie in my mind' starts to capture my attention.  I'm drawn to a place where I'm now one of the characters playing my part, as though I'm a part of the story.

I feel the angst, the happiness, the heart break, excitement and emotions of each character.  My heart flutters when I'm introduced to the people I feel this connection with- right along with the main character- in this case, Tara.

We meet Tara as she's being 'rescued' from a controlling relationship with a man who's done everything in his power to remove the music from her life.  For two years this man made every attempt to replace it with self doubt and  insecurity.

With help from an amazing friend and a new family of friends, Tara rebuilds her life, finding color- to replace the blacks and grays that she had been forced to replace the vibrant colors she once wore. She finds solace once again, as music finds it's way back in her life, mending her heart.

This book is the beginning of a series I'm so excited to continue reading.  Lisa Edward has a talent for story telling; she paints a picture so vivid you become a part of her story with every one of your senses.

As far as I'm concerned, Lisa nailed it with this story! Make sure you click on the links below to buy this book and bump it right to the top of your TBR list!           -MK

Excerpt - Tara & Cole on the Beach
We made ourselves comfortable on the sand and Cole started playing a piece I hadn't heard before, it was unbelievable.
“Just a little something I prepared earlier,” he said with a grin.
It was beautiful. It had a hint of flamenco to it and he played with such skill I was speechless.
Next we went back to the piece we had been toying with, but he added his own spin, obviously the change in scenery had worked.
“That sounds awesome,” I said amazed. “I can’t believe it’s the same song.”
I laid back on the sand listening to the waves and to Cole play.
“Do you need a pillow?” he asked, looking at me laying on the uncomfortable sand, and stripped off his t-shirt before handing it to me to rest my head on.
“You just can’t seem to keep your clothes on can you,” I teased as I folded the top and placed it under my head.
“Only when I’m around you,” he teased back.
He continued playing and I watched the clearly defined muscles in his shoulders and back flex as he strummed the guitar.
I hadn't seen his tattoos up this close before, and I took the opportunity while he was concentrating on the guitar to study them. The design on his arm was intricate, the wings on his back, beautiful. I lightly traced the outline of the wings, and I felt him shiver as he quickly glanced over his shoulder at me with a grin. But he kept playing so I kept running my fingers across the top of his shoulders and around the outside of his shoulder blades.
I looked closer still. I was sure I could see words interwoven in the feathers of the wings on his back. I sat up trying to find more.
“So you've finally seen that some of the feathers are actually words,” he said, smiling over his shoulder.
So I was right. I could see ‘Strength’ and ‘Beauty’ and ‘Courage’. What else could I find? There was ‘Harmony’ and ‘Peace’. It was absolutely beautiful. The closer I looked, the more I found.
“Oh my god Cole,” I murmured, “it’s magnificent.”
He placed the guitar down beside him. “There are about twenty words so far, I get more added as I think of words of significance. Do you really like it?”

New Blogger :)

Hi everyone!!

My name is Jillian, but I will be going by JMAC on this site.  I'm a stay at home mommy to my beautiful one year old daughter, Sophia.  I am married to my best friend and love of my life, Sean. I've known Sean since I was 9 years old.  He was actually my next door neighbor when I was in elementary school. Fun fact about me: I eloped with Sean in Las Vegas when he won a free trip there.  We were already engaged and had a baby, so I figured if were going there we had to get married!!

I love, love, love to read... It's my passion.  Reading honestly puts me in a happy, calm place.  Any free time I get, and I mean any, is spent reading.  I love sexy adult books, and I love any book with a cowboy, rocker, fighter, or bad ass male character.  I do love other books too, I'll pretty much read anything. I'm so excited to be a part of this amazing blog site and cant wait for you guys to see my opinion on books :)
