My Review

I really enjoyed reading Bound and Unbroken.  It's been a while since I've read about a dom/sub relationship , and I truly missed it!

I really loved Lena's character.  She had some horrific things happen to her, which kept her closed off from most of the world.  As a teacher, she lives life working, going home, eating, reading, sleeping, and doing it all over again the next day.

That is until her roommate, Jeremiah, forces her to go to the sports bar with him.

While sitting at the bar alone, wishing she was back home, she meets Eric.

What can I say about Eric? He's mighty fine.  He's dominant and knows exactly what he wants, and just how to get it.

Something about him makes Lena want to know more.

Their is clearly an attraction between the two, but neither knew that they would ever see each other again.

Eric brings out things that Lena never knew she the ability to do, while at the same time, helping her cope with her past.

I really enjoyed Skye's writing.  I was hooked from page one!

Bound and Unbroken is the story of a broken girl trying to keep her past hidden, as someone comes along, and tries to help her heal from it. Trust was a huge factor in this story.  I love how Skye portrayed the characters in such a realistic way.

It was a beautiful story of love, trust, and control.  I loved it, and give it a bold 4 stars.

Skye you have gained a fan!!

Jettie Woodruff's Underestimated Too Book Tour

Title: Underestimated Too
Author: Jettie Woodruff
Genre: Adult Romance
Publication Date: March 15

WARNING. This book contains: explicit sex scenes (some forced, some not), intense situations not meant for the faint of heart, abuse, adult language and content.

Money is not the most important thing in the world. Love is, so they say anyway. Fortunately, Drew loves money. He wasn’t capable of loving anything else. The more money he made, the more he needed to make. Always chasing a deal, that was the most important thing in the world to him.

You rode Morgan’s side of the tracks. Now ride Drew’s. You know the things she went through, things nobody should go through. Is Drew sorry for his part in that? Probably not. He’s not sure things would have turned out the way they did had he been the cute little husband the critics expected him to be. He did do things that hurt her, and regretted a lot of his choices, but tortured himself, wanting to do them still.

You think you know Drew? You don’t know squat. You know what his wife has told you. She couldn’t tell you more than that, she doesn’t know that part of Drew. You want a sappy cliché romance? Move on, this isn’t the story for you. You want all the gruesome details? Stick around, and then you can judge Drew.

Jettie did an amazing job with Underestimated Too.

I loved getting to see how Drew really was and findIng out why he was the way he was.  It didn't make me accept what he did to Morgan but it gave me a better understanding.

Drew completely had my emotions all over the place as I read Underestimated Too.  I loved him, hated him, cried for him, and fell for him all over again.

Underestimated Too perfectly explained the things Drew did to Morgan ( in Underestimated) giving us his reasoning behind everything we were captured by in this previous book.

I absolutely loved reading Drew's point of view.  Jettie once again outdid herself with this 5 star read.  I truly loved this book.  If you haven't started this emotional roller coaster Morgan and Drew have wrapped me and so many others in, what are you waiting for?  Click the links below to start their journey, it's one you won't be able to forget!

Excerpt #1:

“You coming soon? The photographer will be here any minute. Do you really want me to dress Nicholas for this?”
“No way, we’re leaving now… Drew?”
“Yeah.”
“The moving guys left two boxes of papers here for me. Should I bring them home for you?”
“No, I’ll send Celeste after them tomorrow. Come home. Nicky will be awake soon.”
“Okay, but you just called him Nicky again.”
“You don’t have to point it out every time I do it.”
“Yes I do. I’ll see you in a few. I have to run Alicia home first.”
“You should stop and get us some beer. We’ll float around the pool naked after Marta leaves and NICHOLAS goes to bed.”

Writing is more than a passion for me. I write adult books, romance and erotica. I did recently try my hand at a young adult romance, but because of the gutter that my mind seems to fall into. It quickly went into rated R mode. I reside in Ohio. I love living in Ohio, except maybe the cold winters, and the snow, well maybe the hot summers too. Ah hell, I hate Ohio.

I love to push my limits in writing, fuel the senses and emotions of my readers. I have some great supporters and love them all dearly.

Review of Jaden Wilkes new release, The Beast

*My Review*

If I could give The Beast 10 stars I would.  Jaden Wilkes, you are a freaking genius!!!

I loved everything about The Beast.  Don't get me wrong, there were some parts that were very dark, almost hard to read, but the outcome was just AMAZING.

I fell hard for Dimitri; even though some people may not agree.  I just felt so sorry for him; I saw through his hard exterior.  Dimitri was a tough guy, a cold blooded killer that wouldn't hesitate to end your life at the drop of a dime, but on the inside he was empty; a broken soul.

Columbia; my heart broke into a million pieces for Columbia.  When fate (if you can even call it that) brings these two together it was devastating.  Dimitri's past made him not trust who Columbia was, or even why she was in his house.  He automatically thought the worst.

Honestly this was the perfect, dark story of two very broken, very destroyed people living a very lonely life, yet together they created something tragically beautiful.

I don't want to give anything away, but I will say The Beast is a must read!

The emotions pouring from this book were raw and intense, not to mention the sex is HOT!!!

The Beast is dark yet in the end there's light.  I love, love, loved The beast; And I love, love, love Jaden Wilkes.  Clearly, Jaden's made a forever fan in me!

Need.. More... BEATS

I'm still coming off of the high that is Beats.  I have to start by saying I freaking loved this book!!!

Beats, by the amazingly talented Kendall Grey, is the second book following Strings

I thought after reading Strings, their was no way a book could get any hotter, dirtier, and/or sexier. And boy was I wrong!

Beats starts off with getting to know some of the other Killer Buzz Float band mates, on a more personal, and intimate level.

Jinx is a girl who hides inside a shell of her real self.  Classified as a "chameleon", and perfectly fine with that title. Jinx doesn't try in any way to reveal to her band mates who she truly is.  Deep down she's still trying to figure that out.

We learned in Strings that Jinx has an attraction towards the mysteriously sexy Toombs.

Toombs is a mystery.  A beautiful mystery.

Toombs and Rax do everything together.  They're best friends and band mates. They share everything, yes, even their women.  It's natural to them, and starting to feel natural to the other band mates.

Jinx embarks on a dark, scary ride that will change her for the better or worse.

Theirs no denying the attraction Toombs and Jinx share.  The question is will Rax stand in the way of what Jinx wants, or will he let the Beats of their hearts collide?

Beats will have you all hot, bothered, and sweaty by the time you're done.  Kendall outdid herself with these characters and the intense chemistry they all share.  I can not wait for the next book in this series.  I have no doubt Kendall will exceed any and all expectations.  Beats was without a doubt, a five star read for me!

Ready to be Torn??

I just finished reading Torn from You by Author Nashoda Rose, and I'm honestly blown away!!!

Let me start by saying holy F*#!$%G SHIT!!! This book had me hooked since reading the first page.  I was addicted and nothing but reading more could help cure that fix!

It starts off in the prequel With You, where we meet Emily and Sculpt.  We are quickly introduced to a burning love that develops after Emily persuades Sculpt to train her to fight.

Sculpt is an underground fighter, and member of a band.  He screams danger and sex mixed up in one.  He's very mysterious; no one even knows his real name or anything about him for that matter.  Emily on the other hand... sweet, sweet Emily.  She's innocent but can't help the pull she feels whenever she's near Sculpt.  They both finally give in to their feelings and it's beautiful.  Then the unthinkable happens...

Torn from You starts right where With You leaves off.  We're brought to a dark, dark, disturbing place.  And just when you thought you couldn't be anymore shocked by a plot; you're wrong, very, very wrong!

In the beginning of Torn from You, I honestly hated Sculpt (who's true name becomes known).  I just couldn't believe that he could possibly be the man he is revealed to be.  I was introduced to this new side of Sculpt; a scary side.  He was cold, dominating, demanding and scary.  I honestly found myself hurting for Emily; my heart tore for her.

Without giving any more away; I will say this is definitely one of my favorites.  The emotional heartache and betrayal that you feel while reading this book is unreal.  One second you're happy and the next you're heart literally hurts.  While reading I thought to myself, 'There is no way that Sculpt can ever come back from the things he caused Emily to endure... AND LET ME SAY... 'Boy, was I wrong!'. I so badly wanted to hate him for what takes place; but I couldn't.  By the end, I actually loved him!

If you like a dark, slightly disturbing, Dom/sub, passionate love type of book; this is the perfect read.  This book was a lot to grasp; It was raw and demanding. It leaves you wanting so much more.  I absolutely loved it!  Nashoda Rose has another huge fan under her belt.  I cant wait for the next book in the series!
