I AM OBSESSED WITH THIS AMAZINGLY HOT COVER!!!! ~JMAC

Excerpt:

Nico whistled, a sharp warning in the silence of the alleyway.
“We have to go,” he told her and pulled her up. He helped her slide the gloves over her bloodied hands and said, “We can discuss the philosophy of murder on the plane, but for now we have to make sure we get out of here.”
She reached for him, pulled his head down for a savage kiss. She surprisedhim with the strength she had at the moment, clinging to him and inserting herself into his mouth, trying to take claim of it.
He resisted, pulled her arms down and pinned them behind her back in a grim similarity to how he’d bound the dead man. He twisted them until she whimpered and gave in, allowing him to control the kiss, and her body.
“I want to fuck you,” he said against her lips, “I want to plunge into you and drive my cock so far in your cunt you can’t remember your own name.”
She moaned and started to pant, her breath coming in short, shallow gasps. She tiled herself against him, letting him know she was ready to fuck, she wanted it.
Logic took over and he said, “I want to, but we can’t. We have to go.”
He pushed her away and released her hands, turned and walked away. He heard her scramble to follow him and smiled to himself. He couldn’t wait to get her on the plane and fuck her after everything they’d done tonight.
And he couldn’t wait to feel her struggle against him after leaving her like that. She was a wildcat, and just crazy enough to be the best he’d ever had.
He wouldn’t change a thing in the world, and once again thanked fate or the gods that had brought them together.

Perfectly Normal: Jaden Wilkes : JMAC

Take a girl like Columbia, put her in a vastly different life with a man unlike anyone she's ever known. Throw in Dimitri's nightmares, the Concierge's disdain for Dimitri's new house guest and a few hundred people looking high and low for the both of them...and it makes for a very interesting read.

Picking up at the end of the last chapter, this novel covers the time until the two leave Hong Kong, before the epilogue of the first bestselling novel in this series, The Beast.

Two twisted and imperfect beings must adjust to their new lives together while avoiding detection from authorities and an international crime ring.

***As with the first novel in this series, this story covers dark themes with graphic sex, murder and violence.

I honestly couldn't wait to get my hands on this book.  I always think I know what to expect with  Jaden's writing, but she never fails to knock me on my ass!
Perfectly Normal was just brilliant.  I absolutely loved this book hard!
We met both Columbia, and Dimitri in The Beast.  Perfectly Normal gives you all the details that Dimitri and Columbia went through, that The Beast didn't provide.
God I love these two.
Columbia and Dimitri are just oozing hotness all over.  To see how far they've come in their relationship is great.  They both have their fair share of "crazy", but god the sex is HOT!
I don't know how, but they just mesh well together.
I don't want to give anything away, but Perfectly Normal is a MUST READ, along with The Beast.
Some might think the story is for people with twisted minds, well those people can SUCK IT, because to me it was a beautiful story of two damaged people coming together.
Jaden once again you WOWED me!
I loved everything about this story, and I really hope this isn't the end of Columbia and Dimitri, because I love them too much to let them go!
Obviously this was a 5 star read for me.  If you haven't already one clicked Perfectly Normal, what are you waiting for?

Therapist by Jaden Wilkes Blog Tour ~ JMAC

Title: Therapist
Author: Jaden Wilkes
Release Date:  May 19, 2014

Synopsis:
I am a sociopath.

I know this because I diagnosed myself.

I have a PhD in Clinical Psychology from a very prestigious university.

I am charming, attractive, and you probably want to sleep with me.

I take what I want, when I want, and I enjoy picking the most tragic of all my patients to experiment with.

I have no remorse, I am unrelenting in my pursuit of tragedy, and I am about to meet my match.

Her name is not important, I am only allowed to call her Mistress. She is a femme fatale, a patient, and now an obsession.

She will destroy me, I will do anything to get inside of her.

I can already feel her inside of me.

**Trigger warning. This novel contains situations of perversity and dubious consent. It is not a love story, but more of a journey through a few short days in the life of a madman. What you see is not always what you get, reality is altered through his eyes and sometimes there is no happily ever after.

My Review:

OMG I don't even know where to start.
Therapist is mostly written in Alexandre's POV.  He's an extremely hot therapist for women who have been sexually abused.
In the beginning, I really wanted to like Alexandre, but the things he did (while the sex was completely hot and dirty) under the circumstances, were just horrible things a Therapist should never do to their patient.
As I continued reading I knew something about Alexandre's character was off.  He started having some memory loss, and being that it was written in his POV, I was left just as confused as he was.
Without going into any details, the ending gave me clarity on why Alexandre did what he did, and a sense of why he was the way he was.
Jaden you've done it again! You've completely f****d my mind.
Therapist is a very dark, interesting, wild ride.
I love how Jaden has no shame to push the envelope, and go where most authors tend to stay away from.
Therapist was a bold 4 stars for me.
Jaden I can't wait to see what else you have hidden in that creatively dark mind of yours :)

Excerpt:

As I approach my office, I am hit with a familiar scent. Cigarette smoke. An earthy, fragrant smell that tickles the edge of my memory. I know this brand from somewhere, but I don’t know where.
I follow my nose down the short hallway to my private area and open my door.
Smoke hangs heavy in the air, clouds of it billow away from me as I enter. I cut a path through to find out who fucking dares to pollute my office like this.
“Shut the door, Alexandre,” a smooth female voice announces as I enter my space. I turn and see a figure seated on the couch, a halo of pure white smoke envelops her head and she exhales a languid breath that lingers as she speaks. “We need to talk.”
I don’t know why, but I obey. I shut the door, turn back again and look at her. She seems familiar; I think I’ve seen her before. She’s wearing a cherry red cocktail dress, dangerously high black leather heels and elbow length white silk gloves. Her hair is black and falls in waves around her face; her eyes are just as dark. I stare into them and wonder if they ever end.
“Who are you and how did you get in here?” I demand and walk to the window. “Please put out your cigarette, this is a no smoking office,” I continue and slide the glass open.
“I don’t want to, I feel more comfortable with a cigarette in my hand,” she purrs and smiles at me. Her lips are dark red and her teeth are perfect, white and straight. She’s an incredibly beautiful woman. “Think of it as part of my...treatment.”
“Why are you here this early? Who scheduled you? And once again, how did you get in?” I demand again. She laughs and leans back on the couch, her long legs stretch out in front of her, emphasising their perfect shape.
She doesn’t answer, but says, “Doctor, I believe I have an urgent issue we need to address. Please,” she gestures towards my desk, “have a seat.” She draws one last breath from her cigarette, exhales as I sit and butts it out on the bottom of her shoe. Red, Louboutins. In a flash I remember where I’ve seen her. Just last weekend at the restaurant. She was there, was she watching me?
I take my seat. She doesn’t seem like the type I want to argue with, at least not until I get to know her. I decide to go along with her little game and give her the illusion of being in control until I can determine how she needs to be treated. “Well? What is this about?” I ask and set my satchel down on the floor next to my chair.
She takes the cigarette butt and flicks it onto the floor at her feet. She leans back again and looks me up and down, landing on my face, her own a mask of disapproval. “You have been a very, very wicked boy, Alexandre,” she says, her voice still a purr. She has the slightest accent and draws out the last part of my name with a sexy drawl. It’s not Russian, Eastern European perhaps? Middle Eastern? I can’t tell, and with her ambiguous dark features, I couldn’t put a finger on her ethnicity either. She’s beautiful and a complete conundrum.
“Why would you say that, Miss...what did you say your name is?” I ask her, leaning across the desk. I forgot to give the surface a swipe yesterday afternoon and it still carries the slightest pungent scent of the sex that happened on it. A gentle nudge, a reminder of the wicked things I have done.
“I didn’t,” she says and smiles. She almost moves in slow motion as if underwater, elegant and purposeful. “I’ve been watching you, Alexandre, and I’ve seen you get up to all kinds of terrible things.”
“What kinds of things?” I ask her, deciding to continue engaging in her little delusion until I know more about her.
“Things to women, vulnerable women,” she says and raises an eyebrow. “Patients, women you pick up in bars, online...you are very busy and very wicked.”
“How do you know this?” I ask her, feeling rather uncomfortable at this particular line of accusation. I’m very careful with my activities, especially with patients. “Have you been following me?”
“Not following, but watching. They’re very different thing. I’ve had my eye on you for a while now, you know,” she tells me and watches my reaction.
“What is your name?” I demand again, feeling that familiar sharp prick of anger rising behind my eyes.
“My name is unimportant. You may call me Mistress.”
“Mistress?” I repeat and laugh, “I don’t think it’s appropriate to be calling you that. Now please tell me your name so I have something to call you.”
She leans forward on the couch, crosses her ankles and stares me down. After a moment or two of uncomfortable silence, I realize I have to capitulate to get anywhere with her.
I shuffled a few papers on my desk, look back at her and say, “Fine, Mistress it is. Now why are you here...Mistress?”
She licks her lips and leans back again, extends her beautiful legs and folds her hands on her lap. She is perfection and she knows it. That irritates me somehow and yet I can’t help but hang on her every word. The anticipation of her reply is coursing through my veins.
“I already told you,” she says in her low, melodic voice, “I am here because you have been wicked. I am here to punish you.”
I’m not that into BDSM. I like to tie people up and I am the consummate Dominant man if it comes right down to it...but the way she says it, in the mysterious accent, sends a thrill down my spine. I lean farther across the desk, look her in the eyes and say, “How are you planning on punishing me?”

Review of Jaden Wilkes new release, The Beast

*My Review*

If I could give The Beast 10 stars I would.  Jaden Wilkes, you are a freaking genius!!!

I loved everything about The Beast.  Don't get me wrong, there were some parts that were very dark, almost hard to read, but the outcome was just AMAZING.

I fell hard for Dimitri; even though some people may not agree.  I just felt so sorry for him; I saw through his hard exterior.  Dimitri was a tough guy, a cold blooded killer that wouldn't hesitate to end your life at the drop of a dime, but on the inside he was empty; a broken soul.

Columbia; my heart broke into a million pieces for Columbia.  When fate (if you can even call it that) brings these two together it was devastating.  Dimitri's past made him not trust who Columbia was, or even why she was in his house.  He automatically thought the worst.

Honestly this was the perfect, dark story of two very broken, very destroyed people living a very lonely life, yet together they created something tragically beautiful.

I don't want to give anything away, but I will say The Beast is a must read!

The emotions pouring from this book were raw and intense, not to mention the sex is HOT!!!

The Beast is dark yet in the end there's light.  I love, love, loved The beast; And I love, love, love Jaden Wilkes.  Clearly, Jaden's made a forever fan in me!

Dirty Little Freaks, Jaden Wilkes (the book I didn't have to review but couldn't resist!) -MK

My new life as a Beauties and The Book blogger has taken me all over the world, either through the characters in the books I've read or the authors I've had the privilege of meeting- who have written these vary books. Most of the books I end up reviewing are scheduled via blog tours by promoters, street teams, or the authors, themselves.

And then there's the book I stumble upon when a friend asks if I've read a title she heard was the next best thing (or something along those lines).  The pleasure of sneaking in a book between one scheduled review and the next breaks up the feeling that I sometimes get when I'm reading a book that I know I HAVE to read.  And when I've finished reading, I realize I NEED to write about the book and share with others what an amazing book I've found.

Which brings me to my introduction to Jaden Wilkes and her book, Dirty Little Freaks.  I just met Jaden this past weekend when we both shared our thoughts about the same picture someone had posted on Facebook. I later saw her name again when someone referenced the book Jaden had written- now my curiosity was peaked.  I did a little search on Amazon.com and sure enough, there it was.  I clicked on the description of Dirty Little Freaks and skimmed over as my brain came to a screeching halt when I read, "A punk rock story about lust, love, and all the naughty bits in between."  I was one clicking the link before I even finished reading another word!

It's probably important to mention that this book is definitely for audiences over 18 years old.  There are some very graphic scenes throughout the book and I'm sure the sex, drugs and well...more sex and more drugs throughout this book aren't for everyone.

There was no slow easing into this book.  From the second I started reading I was drawn in.  I pictured my friends and I meeting out at the local bar where any number of our favorite bands were playing.  We each had a crush on one guy or another in any one of the bands.  There were drugs and alcohol and (occasionally) a sexual encounter that words may never be able to describe.  And the music, oh the music whether it was a cover band that played the most amazing version of our favorite songs or a band who played only their own original pieces.

Jaden, your book took me there and beyond.  I was reliving some of my own memories but experiencing some encounters I can honestly say I've only had the opportunity to read about- thank God for words (ahem....) and thank you for fitting them all together in such a RED HOT HOLY PUNK ROCK SEX GODDESS FASHION!  I liked this book.  I liked this book A LOT.

I'm looking forward to reading more of Jaden's work; I'll keep you posted!  I'd love to hear your thoughts once you've read this book or any of her others!    <3  MK
