Isabel Lucero's Unforgivable Sin Blog Tour

In book two of The Escort Series, Troy Thompson and Emilie Watson are finally admitting their feelings and thinking about giving a relationship a try.
What happens, though, when being an escort in Sin City isn’t the only problem to worry about when starting a new relationship?
Someone from Troy’s past is back. Carla was the love of his life, his ex-fiancĂ©, and the woman who committed what most consider an unforgivable sin. A sin that forced him to believe he’d never love or trust another woman again.
With Carla doing her best to convince Troy that she’s changed, and showing up to his house with talks of friendship, Emilie is left to wonder if her and Troy’s connection is strong enough to withstand the return of his past.
Is Carla truly back to heal old wounds, and get closure on their relationship? Or is she back to do whatever’s necessary to be the only woman in Troy’s life?

*JMAC'S REVIEW*
After reading Living In Sin, the first book in the Escort Series, I became a huge fan of Isabel Lucero.  I loved Unforgivable Sin.
I was introduced to Troy and Emily in Living In Sin, and I absolutely am in love with their story.
I really enjoyed Emily's character.  She was a firecracker, and never held anything in.  She always spoke her mind and was not ashamed to do so.
Troy is just OHMYGOSH sexy.  He still works as an escort, and never plans on stopping, because the only reason he would stop would be for a relationship, and he's no longer interested in those.
A horrible break up that left Troy broken and not trusting of any female, leaves him alone and numb.
Both Troy and Emily have a connection neither can deny, but Emily is adamant on the fact that she will not date an escort.
The two go on an emotional journey of trusting, letting go, and learning to love again.
Some crazy, shocking twists and turns left me with my mouth completely hanging open.
Isabel, once again you WOWED me.  I loved everything about Unforgivable Sin, and I loved the fact that all the characters from book one made appearances.
This book was a bold 5 stars.  I can't wait for book 3, Marks story.
Everyone do yourself a favor and one-click this series.  It's all types of hot, sexy, and amazing.  I promise you won't be disappointed.

“Thanks for inviting me. What’s up? You said you needed to talk.”
She certainly didn’t take any time getting to business, but I’m not surprised. Emilie is a no-nonsense kind of girl. I’m suddenly more nervous to have this talk considering Carla was just here. She kind of threw me for a loop.
“Yeah, well, I just wanted to talk to you about…well, us.”
“Us?” Emilie asks before taking a bite of her sandwich.
“Yeah. We’ve been friends for a little while, and if I’m not mistaken, there’s something between us.”
I pause and gauge her reaction. Her eyes go wide briefly while she finishes chewing her food. After wiping her mouth, she speaks up.
      “You’re not mistaken.”
      I smile. “Good.”
      “But,” she starts.
      “But what?” I ask.
“Your job. That’s what,” she says matter-of-factly.
      “Right. My job.”
“It’s kind of a problem,” she says with a small shrug, then takes another bite.
A smile tugs at my lips. “I can understand that.”
She puts her food down and turns to face me. “I’m not okay with it, Troy, and I don’t think I ever will be. I really like you, but when I’m in a relationship with someone, I want it to be only between the two of us.”
I nod. “I understand. I appreciate your honesty, and that’s why I’m going to be honest with you now. Since I started being an escort, I never thought about quitting. Ever. I’m only realizing now that maybe I’ve done it so long knowing that it would keep women from wanting a relationship with me. Since my break up with my ex, I’ve never longed for a relationship. I didn’t want to put myself in a position to fall in love, trust someone who isn’t trustworthy, and then get fucked over again.”
She gives me a small nod, waiting for me to go on.
“I have trust issues, Emilie. No woman wants a man who has trust issues.”
“Why do I feel like you’re trying to give me reasons to stay away from you?” she asks.
“I’m giving you the honest truth.”
“Are you telling me that you’re never going to quit?”
I take a deep breath and huff it out. “I know I can quit and be okay financially.”
      “That’s not answering my question.”
“Emilie, if you and I get together, I’m not promising that I’m going to be some perfect boyfriend. I’m trying to warn you. I don’t trust anyone.
I hope she gets what I’m trying to say without me having to say it, because then it would sound harsh.
“Are you saying that you won’t trust me?” she asks, unruffled.
I don’t say anything, but I think that says it all.
“I see,” she responds. “Are you over your ex?”
My head snaps up and my eyes meet hers. “What?”
      “Are you over your…”
“Yeah, I heard you,” I say, cutting her off. “I just wanted to make sure I heard right. Are you asking if I’m over the woman who I was engaged to, who fucked my cousin in my own bed? Yes. Of course I am!”
“Then why are you allowing her and what she did to you dictate your relationships?”
I open my mouth to respond, but she lifts her hand in the air.

“I’m just saying, if you’re over her, then leave her and your relationship with her in the past. Don’t punish me or any other woman for what she did to you. I’m not her, Troy. I didn’t cheat on you when I promised to marry you. I didn’t break your heart when I promised not to. You haven’t given me the chance to promise you anything. I haven’t had the opportunity to prove to you that you can trust me. I understand that people earn trust, but you’re not allowing me to show you that you can. When you’re ready to move forward, and done living in the past, then let me know.”

I fiddle with my phone, and finally say, “Fuck it.” I text Troy, and it’s probably because I’m slightly tipsy, that I text him what I do.

      Me: You should come over.
A few minutes goes by before he responds.
Troy: Oh really? And why is that?
      I smile at his response.
Me: Oh, you know. Just to hang out and…stuff.
Troy: Stuff. I need to know more about this stuff.
I smile even wider at the prospect of being able to do some sexting.
Me: Well, we can finish that kiss.
      Troy: It wasn’t finished?
      I sigh.
Me: No, it wasn’t. I needed to feel your tongue.
      Me: I mean...my mouth did.
I slap my hand on my forehead. Way to sound stupid, Emilie. This is why you should never drunk text, or even tipsy text. You say stupid shit. Five minutes goes by before he responds. I was starting to wonder if I scared him away.
Troy: What if I want my tongue in other places besides your mouth?
My stomach does a somersault and warmth fills my body. The image of his tongue in other places gets me instantly excited. I shift on the couch, lying down with my head on the armrest.
Me: I think that would be okay, but only if I can return the favor.
Again, several minutes go by without a response. I wonder if he’s just nodding off in bed while we’re texting. With a sigh, I get up and take my glass to the kitchen. I shut off the lights and start walking towards my bedroom. Halfway there I hear a noise by the front door. I jump slightly and look at the clock. It’s eleven thirty at night. I’m immediately grateful that I locked it after the girls left.
I creep back through the living room and towards the door. When I get up to the peephole, I hear a soft knock. Looking through it, I can barely make out a man’s figure. He turns and looks right at me.
“Troy,” I say breathily as I open the door for him.
“So, I think you were saying something about my tongue.”

My Review
Isabel Lucero's second book in the Escort Series, Unforgivable Sin DID NOT DISAPPOINT!   This was such a good book- I didn't think there was any way she could surpass my expectations after her first book in this series, Living In Sin!

If you're looking for a RED HOT summer read, you need to read this book- in fact, If you haven't read either book yet, I promise, you won't be disappointed!

I fell in love with the characters, the story line, the romance!  This book had it all!

I'm looking forward to reading more from this author, she's fast become one of my favorites!

Isabel Lucero's Living in Sin Blog Tour

Title: Living in Sin
Author: Isabel Lucero
Genre: Erotic Romance
Publication Date: January 1, 2014

**This story contains graphic sexual content and strong language. Intended for mature audiences only.**

Jace Jamison is every woman’s fantasy. He’s a mysterious businessman willing to sweep you off your feet, a tattooed bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks, and a sexy friend you want to take that next step with. Jace is everything and anything you want him to be. He’s a highly paid escort.

But nobody knows who Jace really is; the man whose dad abandoned him, whose brother was killed, and who had to take care of his mom at a young age. At the age of nineteen, he was living in Sin City, ready for a life away from stress and struggle.

Adrienne has been having a sexual drought since she broke up with her boyfriend. Even then she wasn’t getting fully satisfied. Being an event planner, she’s constantly working at numerous events. Several times she’s seen a man she can only refer to as the God-like creature at her work functions. He’s devastatingly handsome, tall, and has beautiful eyes, but he’s always with a different woman. The last thing she needs is another player in her life.

After a few chance encounters with Jace, her best friend convinces her to just get some good sex out of him and not worry about who she’s seen him with. But what happens when she finds out that he isn’t dating these women because he wants to, but because he’s paid to?

Keeping his job a secret from Adrienne seems easy at first, but when she begins meeting people he knows in his escort life, and they begin getting closer, he knows he has to tell her before someone else does.

When their worlds entwine, and confessions are made, will they be able to work through it? Will she be able to push aside his sins and focus on the good in him? Will Jace get what he’s never had? A woman who wants him despite what he’s done. Or will living in sin cost him what he never knew he wanted?

*An erotic, contemporary romance*
*Book one in a series, but can be read as a standalone.*

WOW!! I really want to hug Isabel Lucero for writing such an amazing book.  I can say with confidence, this book is easily one of my favorite reads this year.

There were definitely some parts that got me all hot and bothered (in a good way of course); but besides the steamy scenes, I loved the story.  All of the characters were great!

This is the first book I've read where the guy, instead of a female, is an escort.  Love of course comes into play, which made me love the book even more.

A tattooed "sex god" meets a gorgeous event planner, mix that with the scandalous city of Las Vegas, and trust me things get hot and heavy.

Isabel's writing was done so well, I honestly connected with the characters on a personal level.  I felt like I was the one going through the situations, and at times felt confused and hurt at some of the situations, not knowing what I would do if it were me.  Needless to say, I was hooked from page one!

I don't want to give anything away, but I will say Living in Sin has a perfect amount of sexiness mixed with some raw emotions.

Living in Sin was easily a 5 star read for me, and I look forward to reading more of Isabel's work.  Do yourself a favor and read Living in Sin.  I promise you won't be disappointed!

I loved everything about this book; every word, every punctuation mark, every sentence, every paragraph, every page, every chapter...  This was a 5 star book, without a doubt!  I was drawn in by each character's personality and the relationships they had with each other.

As we get to know the characters, Jace Jameson truly is the image of every woman's dream "Alpha Male" and Adrienne is a woman who could easily be any one of us.  We follow them on their paths as they get to know each other and learn about themselves along the way.

Isabel has a way of mixing just the right amount of story telling with MAD PASSIONATE RED HOT scenes!  When an author finds this perfect ratio- there really is no better moment as a reader when you realize you're hooked!  This was a book I couldn't put down and when I had to, it was in the back of my mind until I was able to pick up where I left off.

This book needs to be added to the top of your TBR lists!  If you don't have it yet, follow the links below to 'one click' it now!  You won't be disappointed; I know I wasn't!         -MK
