I loved reading Nina and Jakes story
from Jakes POV. Jake is telling his
friend their story, and he goes back to what happened in “Jake Undone” but
telling it from his POV. So, any
questions I had about Jake were definitely answered in Jake Understood. I loved that it was past/present, so even
though Jake went into the past telling his side of the story, we still got more
out of Jake and Nina’s story in the present.
I don’t want to ruin anything in the
book, since not a lot of the story is present time. But, one part of the book
(present time) was just amazing. Jake
has grown so much into an amazing man. I
loved seeing the secondary characters.
Skylar and Mitch (love these two).
I usually don’t like to read books that are the same story just in
different POV’S, but Penelope executed it perfectly. Jake was speaking to a friend telling him
about his relationship with Nina. It was
just written perfectly.
I definitely recommend reading Jake
Understood, if you have already read Jake Undone. Even though it is a standalone, you would
probably enjoy the story more if you read Jake Undone first. Penelope you did it again. This story was amazing, I’m so happy I read
it!!
