Cover Reveal: Fearing Regret
Author: Barbara Speak
Series: Flawlessly Broken
Release Date: July 1st

SYNOPSIS:
It seems Kate Williams has it all; money, great job, a supportive family, and an amazing group of friends. What she lacks is the confidence and ability to make a good decision regarding the men in her life. After the worse break up yet, she runs into the arms of Ryan, her long time best friend and the one that seems to always mend all of her broken hearts. But after years of being "That" guy, he is ready to confess to her what he has felt all along.

A night out with her friends brings a complete stranger into the mix. One encounter on the dance floor is all it took for him to flood her every thought. But Is he really a stranger after all or is he closer to her than she thinks?

Should Kate take the chance and chose her best friend, knowing he will cherish her forever? Or should she take a leap and go with the man that had her heart before she even knew his name?
Someone’s heart will be broken, someone will lose everything they hold dear, and someone will tell the ultimate lie and destroy everything.

Will fearing regret keep Kate away from what she really wants most?

*JMAC'S REVIEW*
I honestly loved Fearing Regret.
I met Kate briefly in Finding Solace, being that she's Ash's sister.
I loved Kate's character.  Kate always picked the wrong guys.  Her last boyfriend turned into a crazy guy when they broke up, leaving her and her friends a bit worried.
What I really love is the friendship between all the characters.  I felt like I was right there in the group partying it up with all of them.
Back to Kate.... To me , she was a girl who so badly wanted to find "the one", yet just gave the wrong people the chance.
Ryan is Kate's best friend, but he's loved Kate for a long time.  They have always had a flirty kind of relationship, but Kate never acted on anything because her friendship was way more important to her, and the chance of ruining it to have a relationship with him, was a chance Kate wasn't willing to take.
At this point I became a little frustrated with Kate, only because she was just "fearing regret", rather than taking a chance and living.
Kate was very confused.  She definitely  had feelings for Ryan (who by the way is a freaking sex god).
Then someone else comes into the picture (I can't say who), and let the love triangle begin.
Fearing Regret was honestly such a great book.  After reading Finding Solace, and falling in love with every second of it, I knew Barbara wasn't going to disappoint.  I was 100% right.
Fearing Regret is the story of wanting to find love with the right person, and fearing it at the same time. Learning that love is a process; you must grow with someone that you love.  Forget about the fear it comes with.
I love Barbara's writing style.  She made me feel like I was right there with the characters.  Going through every happy, sad, funny moment, right there with them.
Fearing Regret was a story that you could relate to, which I love most about it.  It wasn't just a boy meets girl and they fall in love.
I recommend this story to anyone (over 18 of coarse) who likes love mixed with just the right amount of sexiness.
This was without a doubt a 5 star read.  Go do yourself a favor and read this book, and find out what happens in Fearing Regret, I promise you wont regret it.

……in The Broken Parts of us.

Review:

Before I dive in to my review I have to say this was a 5 star read for me.  I loved The Broken Parts Of Us from beginning to end.

The Broken Parts Of Us is the 2nd book following The Broken.  It starts right where The Broken leaves off, just in different point of views.

I was introduced to Jasper in The Broken.  He's a sexy guy who uses it to his advantage.  Jasper makes no effort to hide his love for sex. He appreciates a good looking female, but it never goes further than that.  Ever!!

An incident happens that forces Jasper to be with someone he doesn't even like.  While stuck in a relationship he doesn't want and forcing himself to believe that love, for him, doesn't exist; someone he never expected makes him rethink it all.

The thing I loved most about The Broken Parts Of Us was the raw emotion that we received from the characters.  As I was reading I felt like I was right there, feeling every happy, sad, heartbreaking moment.

I knew heading into The Broken Parts Of Us I wasn't going to be disappointed; and I was beyond right.  Ker did not disappoint; every time I thought I knew where the story was headed, BAM! Every page was a shock (a good one at that).  I love the way Ker writes and keeps you guessing the whole time.  This was an emotional, beautiful, heartfelt, honest read.

In the end, is their anyway people so Broken, can ever find love?  The Broken Parts Of Us takes the reader through emotions of people who are stuck in love, yet scared to admit it.  Is it OK to assume that once we give in to our feelings, those feelings will be the very things that fix the broken parts of us?

Do yourself a favor and one click The Broken Parts Of Us.  I promise, you won't be disappointed.

Excerpt

Derek

People think death is the worst thing that can happen, but it’s not, it’s the living that other people have to go on doing once someone we love is taken from this world. It’s the what ifs that constantly replay in our minds. It’s the did they know I loved them? What would they be like if they were here now? How do I get up today and live with this agony?

The only thing that makes it slightly easier is having family to live for, to love, to get up and go on coping for. River has become like a sister to me. She fills a void left by my own sister; her death still plagues me and I feel responsible for her taking her life. River and I share this same grief. We’re bonded by a shared misery; a painful sorrow that is a part of us.
Sammy has become like the brother I never had. We share a love for River, but also we are survivors. We’ve both looked the devil in the eye and lived to breathe another day.

Jasper; he’s a different story. I struggle with how I feel about him. At first, he was just part of the River/Sammy package, and his constant string of easy whorish women grated on my nerves. But over time, I noticed subtle changes in him; the way he adores River and listens intently whenever she speaks; not like a boy with a crush, but like a child worshipping an enigma. He’s fiercely loyal to Sammy, a trait I respect.

Love Without Boundaries

Without Boundaries, by the amazing C.J. Azevedo was the most heartfelt, beautiful, love story ever!

This book brought out the hopeless romantic in me, and reminded me why I love to love.

I was first introduced to Bailey Hayes.  Bailey is a beautiful, sweet, charming girl, who happens to be in a horrible relationship. After only months of being in a "puppy love" state with her current boyfriend, Bailey decides to take the next step and move in with him, not knowing everything was going to change.

Soon after moving in, Bailey was introduced to the controlling and abusive ways of her boyfriend.  Bailey was left hopeless, feeling like she was going to be stuck with the wrong person forever.

That is until fate brings Bailey crashing into Talon.  Literally she crashes right into him while not looking where she was going.

Talon from the start is completely taken with Bailey, and of coarse Bailey cant help but think Talon is just dreamy.

Will Talon be Bailey's shot at a chance of real love without boundaries?

C.J. once again had me hooked from page one!  I read this book in one sitting.   I wasn't able to put it down!!

Without Boundaries will take you through the hardships of being in an abusive relationship, and learning the true meaning of not settling for less.  This book proves that there is such thing as a soul mate, as long as your willing to believe.

C.J. did an amazing job with the writing in this book.  I felt so connected to each character, I felt every hurt, pain, happy, sad, and humorous feeling they felt.  I cried like a baby, both happy and sad tears.  I loved, loved, loved this book and cant wait for more of C.J.'s work!  I'll forever be a dedicated fan to the lovely C.J. Azevedo!
